The table below shows rates and availability for 2024
Prices are £300, £370 or £490 per week – the same as 2023.
Where bookings have been made for less or more than a whole week the exact dates are listed below the table.
The following dates are not available:
– 28th September through 9th November
All prices are fully inclusive of heating, electricity, bedding & towels.
Check in time is from 4pm (16.00) on the day of arrival.
Check out time is by 10am (10.00) on the day of departure.
We have off street parking for up to three cars.
Access to Folly View is up a small step into the garden and then a step into the accommodation. There are no steps inside Folly View.
We’re sorry we cannot allow smoking in Folly View.

A deposit of 50% will be required to secure your reservation.
Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Mrs Merinda Essex and send to Orchard House, Clun Road, Craven Arms, Shropshire SY7 9QS or we will arrange BACS. The balance must be paid within four weeks of the start of your stay. When you have paid your balance we’ll send you full directions and a map showing you how to find us.
You are advised to take out cancellation insurance as unfortunately we cannot refund your deposit unless we can re-let the accommodation.

Our second visit. We have had a fabulous second visit in Folly View. We have been for a walk every day – from Folly view up to Flounders’ Folly; Hopesay; also from Clun; Newcastle-on-Clun and Ragleth Hill near Church Stretton – superb view!
We’ll be back again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.
