Bishop’s Castle Walking Festival starts on Thursday 5th May until Sunday 8th May 2022. This will be the 22nd year of this event. The guided walks are led by local volunteers, taking in open hill tops, winding valleys, tiny hamlets, country lanes,
Ramble, Amble, Scramble was set up about ten years ago to raise money for research into blood cancer. The walks can be walked between May 17th to May 30th 2022. Application to take part is between March 1st until May 16th 2022.
The snowdrops are pushing up through the ground. Millichope Park has three Snowdrop events. Sunday 13th 2022 9am until 4pm Sunday 20th 2022 2pm until 5pm this event is run in conjunction with NGS. Sunday 27th 2022 9a.m. until 4pm. Enjoy walking

While out walking this Autumn there have been some beautiful chestnuts, big, chunky ones worth picking found liberally scattered under sweet chestnut trees. There are a lot of sweet chestnuts trees to see while out walking in the woods around Craven Arms.
