Queen Elizabeth II served us all her life, not just for the seventy years of her reign that made her our longest serving monarch.
How many people would want to do the same job for seventy years. A job where you can never totally relax, but Queen Elizabeth did.
She has been there while Prime Ministers come and go, she has been the stability of our country.
I am sad she has died. I am sad for King Charles now taking over the role of our monarch in the wake of his Mother’s death.
