The drive to Wonderwool takes about an hour. So having a wonderful day we had a lovely drive to Builth Wells and back home. It was a sunny day although started out cool.
The South Shropshire Hills were stunning as were the hills as we sneaked across the border into Wales. On some of the hills there were bright yellow swathes of gorse.
The trees are turning green slowly, with oaks reaching out toward each other. There was lots of blossom.
The verges and banks at the side of the roads were full of flowers, either just gone over or at the height of their season. There were Bluebells, clumps of primroses, yellow dandelions everywhere and on the approach to Builth Wells there were drifts of Lady’s Smock.
We saw Red Kites soaring over head on unseen thermals and sheep wondering across the road, with all the time in the world, at Llangedney heartland.
We took our time and enjoyed the views on our journey.
