Ludlow Market has been held on the same site for over nine hundred years. It is a outside market, with Georgian buildings around and at the far end is Ludlow Castle entrance with Castle Square in front.
General Markets are held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. There are specialist Markets held on Thursday and Sunday.
The Local to Ludlow markets (formerly the Farmers Market) is held on every second and fourth Thursday each month. There is a wide selection of food, either grown or produced locally.
There is a Made in Shropshire Market held on some Saturdays. There are Craft and Garden markets, Book and Craft markets, Antique and Flea Market.
The Market Square spills over in Castle Square for some markets.
There are brilliant food stalls some selling ready meals. I already have some of my Christmas presents from Ludlow Market. There is always something different to explore at the Ludlow markets.
