I enjoy having ago at different arts and crafts and we are lucky to have Westhope College near where we live.
They put on lots of different courses these include, printing, upholstery, machine and hand embroidery, glass work, basket weaving, jewellery making and many more. They also do City and Guilds Qualifications for some subjects.
Some Westhope College courses are half a day but most are one day courses but some are over two or three, even four. Tea, coffee, cake (lovely) and lunch are provided in the cost on full day courses. Any dietary issues can be catered for.
Westhope college has lovely gardens to wander through during breaks in classes.
There are open days in the Summer where you can see the craft work produced by students and explore the beautiful gardens.
Westwood College is s short drive down Corvedale from Folly View.
