The Prolific Crafter and Ewe and Ply, two of my favourite craft shops, have both moved.
The Prolific Crafter is now at 10 Sandford Avenue, Church Stretton. You can find them using the what3words service and they are at “warp.changed.making” – which seems appropriate.
There is a veritable cornucopia of wools and tools, to chose from, for knitting, crocheting and weaving. There are a range Tops fibres for spinning and felting, As well as needle felting kits.
There are regular workshops and a twice monthly crafting session, where crafters gather for tea, chat, support and experimentation.
Ewe and Ply are still where they have always been in Oswestry. However their Shrewsbury shop has moved and they are no longer in the The Best Market in the country, Shrewsbury Market.
They can now be found in The Parade, which is the lower two floors of the old Shrewsbury Hospital in St Mary’s Square. They are on the lower ground floor and you can find them near to “quench.chat.visual” – which also seems appropriate.
There is lots of lovely woolly joyfulness, and they produce their own dyed yarns for you to knit or crochet.
Ewe and Ply also have a once a month Stitchin Group and run courses.
Both of these shops are ones I can be found mooching in, so please go and support them.
