The Land of Lost Content closed for the last time yesterday. (Written on 31st May 2023).
It is sad to lose this amenity from Craven Arms and sad that people did not appreciate its presence while it was here.
The collection of Twentieth Century British Popular Culture, art, knick knacks and everyday items, has been sold.
Over the years we have been in Craven Arms we have contributed lots of items to the Land of Lost Content. These include baseball boots, an avocado coloured sink, a black and white television that we used in our kitchen for many years.
We wait to see what the owner of the building, Wayne Hemingway, is going to do with Craven Arms’s Old Market Hall.
We wish Stella and Dave well, carry on collecting Stella.
