The Beardy Folk Festival has become an established part of the Folk Festival calendar in just five years.
And attracting headliners like Seth Lakeman, Skerryvore, Merry Hell and Martin Carthy it can only go from strength to strength.
The festival is held at Hopton Court near Cleobury Mortimer on 15th – 18th June 2023.
There are various stages the main ones being the main stage and an acoustic stage, and a stage for introducing singers and songwriters.
There are workshops in dancing, singing and yoga.
There are events and areas for keeping the younger members of your family entertained.
If you are camping for the weekend you can upgrade to a clamping package but best of all free showers are provided on site. (I have been to festivals with no washing facilities, washing your hair under a stand pipe is not fun).
Tickets for all four days started at £110 (no longer available) up to £155.
I would have been going myself but have other things going on that weekend. Next year I will definitely be going.
