Some of you will be aware that my e-mail account was hacked.
I apologise if you ended up getting an unsolicited email from me.
To let you know I DO NOT have an aol e-mail account. Do not contact it, it is not me. They redirected replies to another account that looked like it was me.
It is a nasty thieving person trying to get information and money they are not entitled to.
I never put any information in my “contacts” other than email addresses. There are no home addresses or telephone numbers kept in there.
I have to say that having had a Yahoo account for a long time, they were not at all helpful and wanted me to pay for any help. I was not putting any credit card details in after I had just been hacked.
My Yahoo account is no more.
The Folly View account is still presently running. Probably not for long.
This hacking experience was annoying, upsetting, frustrating and a complete waste of time.
I have spent at least two days dealing with this, as well as the time taken by Lyndon and two of my friends helping me sort it all out.
And I still have things to sort out.
Not forgetting to mention the time of everyone who contacted me to let me know I had been hacked.
Thank you.
