Walking Dillie on Onny Meadows I spotted two white bird bums flying away from me.
I knew them to be Bullfinch rear ends, as they are a brilliant white. I watched until they settled on the ground to confirm a male and a female. The female having a pink grey front and the male having an orangy pink front.
They are one of my favourite birds, so I was very pleased to see them on a sunny Spring afternoon.
