The Shrewsbury Flower Show is having it’s 130th birthday this year on the 11th and 12th August. In The Quarry as always.
There are marques with Floral Displays and interesting vegetables. Food halls with lots of tasty things to sample. Craft tents where you can part with your money.
There are outside trade stands selling plants, seeds and lots more beside.
You can enjoy the lecture marque where among others Joe Swift from Gardeners World will be there to talk about Designing a Chelsea Gold Medal Winning Garden. There will also be a Gardeners Question Time Panel.
John Torode will be on regularly in the Food Hall over the two days.
In the Arena there will be Show Jumping, Falconry Displays and Motor bike Display teams among others.
There is a children’s entertainment area with a scheduled programme.
Friday evening the London Community Gospel Choir will be performing with the Overtones taking to the stage on Saturday night. Both evening are finished off with a Firework display at 9.45pm.
Advance tickets are £25 or you pay £28 on the day.
